About Loving Home Hospice for Children

Loving Home Hospice for Children is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. We provide services to families who reside in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, California since 2008. We are currently fundraising to have a facility where we can provide Hospice and Palliative care through loving support to our residents under the age of 21 and their families during their difficult life challenges. It is our goal to enable the residents and their families to focus on the joys of their life experiences and the continuity of family life to come.

We also seek to provide inpatient and home care through a team coordinated by qualified physicians and registered nurses. Nursing care provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Along with spiritual leaders and trained volunteers, this team provides medical, psychological, social, and spiritual care as its core services.

It is very rare that hospice and palliative care is focused solely on children. Many people find it too heavy to deal with but it must happen in order to find a peaceful place for both those in care and their families who receive help with counseling and grieving.

Do you have a child that's terminally ill in Los Angeles?

Do you have a child that's terminally ill in Los Angeles? Then you need to bring them to Loving Home Hospice for Children. We specialize in providing five-star hospice and palliative treatment for children. It's an incredibly tough thing to face a terminal illness as a child, both for the child and the parents. At our clinic, we're here to provide you with comfort, care, counseling, and whatever else you need. We're here for the parents too. That's why we encourage that you take an active role in the hospice care of your child. We've found that this helps ease the pain and grief of parents. Without it, many turn to drugs and alcohol and even lose their jobs. Our number one goal is to provide you with the support that you need so that you can recover.

Palliative Care:

Palliative care is a type of health care for patients and families facing life-threatening illness. Palliative care helps patients to achieve the best possible quality of life right up until the end of life. Palliative care is also called end-of-life, or comfort care.

Grief Counseling:

Grief counseling is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people cope with grief and mourning following the death of loved ones, or with major life changes that trigger feelings of grief.

Family Counseling:

We take pride in helping families with our professional family counseling where we focus on their child's condition and needs as well as therapy for all close family members.

MAT & Behavioral Therapy

We also offer Medication- Assisted Treatment (MAT) including Opioid treatment programs that combine
behavioral therapy and counseling services that are for 21 years old and younger.
We at Loving Home Hospice are in the process of continuing our work in the community to build a facility that will contain 30 beds for those in palliative and hospice care. This facility would be a life-changing building for those who do work in the community as well as those who live in the community. It is an unfortunate fact that there are a growing number of children in the country who live without the deserved attention in this time of need.

At Loving Home Hospice, we feature nursing care 24/7. That means your child will NEVER be without a loving caretaker by their side. If your child is facing a terminal illness in California, don't wait to get them the care they deserve. To reach out to us, you can either call us at (818) 532-7501 or email us at [email protected]
